Dylan Mandlsohn

Canadian Dylan Mandlsohn is the man with a rubber face. A member of The Groundlings Improvisational Troupe in Los Angeles, he is an energetic stand-up comedian who uses his own brilliant comedy to entertain audiences across this globe. Dylan’s drug of choice is adrenaline, and his favourite dealer is the audience at his comedy shows

Dylan Mandlsohn began his comic career at the young age of seventeen where he performed in front of his high school. At twenty-one, while attending the University of Windsor, Dylan was nominated by the Canadian Comedy Awards for Funniest New Comedian in Canada. His appearance at “Yuk Yuk’s search for Canada’s Funniest New Comic” was screened nationally on CTV and the Comedy Network.

Hitting his mark at Montreal’s world famous Just For Laughs, and also The Boston Comedy Festivals, catapulted Dylan Mandlsohn into being selected to perform for The Comcast Network which spread his wings into new television and film territory. Recent achievements include booking a major motion picture called Brand Dead. He has two Gala performances at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and Halifax Comedy Festival both aired for CBC. Also, he has recently booking a role on the popular television show Nakita where Dylan flexes his serious acting muscles as a CIA agent. Additionally, Dylan recently starred in his own Comedy Now Special for The Comedy Network and CTV. This won him a prominent spot as a member of the critically acclaimed The Groundlings Improvisational Troupe that take stage in Los Angeles California.

Dylan Mandlsohn is a Master Impressionist with over 75 voices, faces and characters. Dylan’s rubber face and array of charismatic stand-up characters have made history by making him the first Canadian comic to be a back-to-back finalist at the prestigious San Francisco and Seattle Comedy Competitions.” As far as the characters I do, I really love them all,” said Mandlsohn. “They’re all created from a mixture of someone I’ve met with my own twist to spice them up even more.”

Performance Style: Inspired by the great Jim Carrey, legendary Johnny Carson and Rich Little, Dylan Mandlsohn uses his own brilliant comedy to entertain and challenge social norms by pushing boundaries that promote forward thinking to his Stand-up audiences across this globe. A lot of Mandlsohn’s material is born of frustration and becomes, in his hands, the fodder for comedy. He calls it a great emotion to create comedy.
