To reserve a table until show time, or to prepay for your tickets, call 612-327-0185. Using PayPal, you can purchase your “will call” tickets online. (No physical tickets will be issued, but your pre-paid seats will be held even after the show begins.) Showroom opens 30-45 minutes prior to show time.

John Knight has been doing comedy for more than twenty years. He has been described as an every man storyteller with a deadpan cutting edge.

Knight has written for various television shows as well as being creator and writer of the Apocalyptic Al series for National Lampoon Magazine. John has hosted his own radio show, Saturday Morning Live. If you haven't caught him live, you may have seen one of his numerous television appearances including Comedy Central and Showtime. It's our birthday!!! Happy Birthday to us!

This week, the Joke Joint Comedy Club turns one year old. And to celebrate the milestone, we’ve officially moved into our new, larger showroom! With more space and better views, the stage is located further from the bar, and has fewer interruptions.

“Our first year was exciting. We hosted the Carnival Comedy Challenge. We've had nationally known comics grace our stage, and look forward to more this month with John Knight (above) and Diane Ford (May 9-10).”

Our old showroom seated approximately 150 people. Our new showroom comfortably seats over 180, and includes new premium booth seating.

We've also added other extras. We now provide corporate entertainment, providing comedians for private parties and holiday events. We provide non-celebrity roasts where seasoned comics help write and perform scathing comedy roasts, which are perfect for retirement parties, awards banquets or other noteworthy celebrations. 2008 also saw us start working with local fundraisers, dedicating certain nights to their benefits, or helping them raise money for their cause by helping them sell discounted tickets to the Joke Joint. We are the only club in town that offers hotel and show packages, along with dinner served during the show (not part of the package). And finally, we are the only club in town to offer a personal satisfaction guarantee on all of our shows.
